Philadelphia · Est. for the next generation

Faith. Sport. Community. Children First in Philadelphia.

A Philadelphia-based, faith-led outreach organization investing in the next generation through sports, mentorship, and family programs — from Germantown to North Philly.

Our Mission

Three pillars hold up everything we do.

LegacyX exists where character, faith, and neighborhood intersect — building the kind of foundation a child carries for life.

01

Sport as Discipline

Basketball, soccer, and seasonal sports teach the daily habits — showing up, working hard, losing well, winning humbly — that shape character far beyond the court.

02

Faith as Foundation

Rooted in Christian tradition and open to every family. We believe a child grounded in purpose grows into an adult who serves their community with conviction.

03

Community as Family

No child is raised alone. We connect kids, parents, mentors, coaches, and pastors into a Philadelphia-wide circle that walks together for the long haul.

Stories

In their own words.

“My son walked in shy and walked out a leader. The coaches treat him like he matters — because he does.”

— Tanya R., parent, Germantown

“LegacyX gave me a place to belong on Saturdays and a mentor I still text every week. I’m the first in my family heading to college.”

— Marcus D., age 17, North Philly

“You don’t volunteer here to fix anyone. You show up, you stay, and you watch what consistency does to a child’s life.”

— Pastor James W., mentor & partner

Our Faith

“We are a faith-led organization, interdenominational and family-friendly — rooted in the conviction that every Philadelphia child is made for purpose, and that the work of love is done one Saturday, one practice, one shared meal at a time.”
